A military issued knife with a Rockwell Hardness of 50-55. The springsteel blade features a non-reflective black coating to help preserve life and resist rusting. It has an exceptional ability to resist chipping and cracking under nearly any stress. The cross bar is uniquely designed to protect the hand against injuries and doubles as a bottle opener or a thumb rest. The polymer handle is slip resistant and very ergonomic. This field knife is perfectly balanced for throwing as well and fits nicely into the kydex sheath which can be worn on belt loops up to 2.25 inches wide.
